Renaissance South LA staff have developed guidelines that define individuals who are from the transient population to clients who are homeless and have a mental illness. Clients who are identified as qualified for these services will meet with one of our intake counselors and be given a service plan and referred for any additional medical attention such as trauma care that we as not equipped to handle. Each service plan must describe the individual program setting and the services and activities provided as well as the estimated number of people served. Each county that receives funding that has been established one or more programs of outreach to, and/or services for, persons who are homeless and have a serious mental illness and at RSLA we partner with local and national agencies to provide resources for our clients if applicable.
